Thank you for your plea for Cape Lookout, but as of tomorrow, June 28th will be my last day. The board has decided to take a new direction with the school, and phased out my position (principal) along with cutting the staff in half. They did offer me the administrator's position but I declined due to the fact that they are reducing salaries, increasing duties and cutting personnel who worked for six months with no pay. I don't agree with what they are in the process of doing to students and staff, therefore I declined the position. Everyone, knows that I love the school, students and staff, but I can't staff and know that people have been done wrong.

Please thank everyone who replied to your plea, but ask them not to send. Thank you for all that you do.
